Welcome to Expedition Highway. A new reality concept that will stimulate your sense of adventure.Our goal is to invite you and your family on an adventure to not only experience the wonders of our beautiful country, but to seek the treasures that have been long lost, forgotten, or that are just old folklore.We want to prove that some of these tall tales of lost treasure in our country are really true, and discover them here on the show. We shall seek the source of the mother load herself, while providing stimulating education, by sharing the rich history of our country and showcasing the majestic countryside of the western slopes of the Rockies. Here is a show that is pure reality: no script. In search for a piece or two of knowledge that have yet to be discovered and the chance for riches!

The concept of Expedition Highway was created by Jeff Burch, a local outdoors man, treasure hunter, and explorer. He presented the idea to a local film production company owner David Hutto of DCH Films and Entertainment and they are now in the process of turning this concept into reality. Hello All, From North Dakota.
I have taken a job training driver's to raise money for this summers adventure, so bare with me. I have been away from my PC, so welcome to all new members. I'm doing my best to get the funds for the permits to shoot this show. It is my lifes desire to accomplish this goal.There is lost treasure here, so I will be taking my week end for the hunt. Its winter, here in Rock Springs Wyoming. Some excitment training guys, in this bitter cold place. I can take advantage and talk with you all, from this wire less hook up. The adventure begins in one of the most rugged mountain ranges in the Rocky Mountains, the San Juan's. This landscape is beautiful, majestic, and awe inspiring, but it is also one of the most treacherous untamed areas in the state. The weather is unpredictable, the terrain is steep and rugged, and it is isolated and wild.It's time to hit the Expedition Highway.
Light the fires and kick the tires....It is time to travel.Lets go on an adventure across America! Season 1 begins in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in wonderful Colorful Colorado. It's time to pack up the gear and explore the rugged San Juan's and try to find the lost treasure hidden in the rugged mountain range. Climb aboard and let's go....don't worry you won't get too weathered....you are enjoying this from the comfort of your own home remember?

Our first stop will be in Colorado where the story begins. Here is where we will start our travel up the trail to lost treasure. From there you will see the trials, tribulations, and excitement of our backwoods mountain expedition. So what are you waiting for? Grab a cold beverage, some popcorn, and lace up your boots because we got some exploring and treasure hunting to do....
Where there is tale of lost treasure.... Will we find it?
(Calaverite) The stuff that was found by Gus was valued at $200,000.00 a ton. There is still massive amounts of gold ore in these mountains will we find it...or will we go bust? Old Gus found it once (Go To Our Historical Data Page) , but he lost it...Here it is nearly a 100 years later, with all the advancements in technology can we find it? What are we looking for? What is it? and Where is it? Who Knows what we will find on our search for hidden treasure.
You will learn some history on the Old miners of the state and where the biggest nugget in Colo was found. Sound like fun? 13.5 LBS, shes a beauty. What a find!Good old gold nuggets are what we seek to find on our Expedition.
On our Historical Data Page we will talk about other gold finds in the state that were truly amazing, but we are hoping to find the mother load...and take you along with us for the ride.
