  Jeff Burch is an avid outdoors man, treasure hunter, and wilderness explorer who lives in the majestic mountains of Colorado.  His interest in finding gold and treasure is extensive, and he is dedicated to exploring everything that he possibly can in his lifetime.  In 2009, while searching online for a company to produce his idea for a wilderness treasure-hunting show, Jeff began a partnership with DCH Films and Entertainment And Jasmine pearl production's.  Shooting for the  Expedition Highway's first show,which is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2010.

A Hello from Jeff  Burch

     One of the reasons I have had the time and opportunity to create this show is that after my mother's stroke in 2006, I left my home, job, and life in Washington state to move back to Colorado and care for her.  There is nothing better for the healing proses then having loved ones nearby, and we almost lost her.  That event was too close for my heart.  She is doing great now, but she lost the use of the left side of her body.  Her mind is as sharp as a tack which is wonderful, and I love her with all my heart!  I wished to share this with you because I'm a real person just like you.  We all go through tough times in our lives.  I have found that if you stay positive, you will get through just about anything that comes at you.

     My love for tales of treasure and the adventure of going out to search for it have always been important to me.  I love to find new places to dig for crystals or hunt for rocks.  Old mines, and quartz quarry's are things I have found, just outside my backyard. My love for gold and its history, and the men that went out to search for it, well that is what's brought us here today.  My sister lives here with us too now, she help's care for mom, so I can sneak off to the wilderness. She doesn't mind. I always show her  the places  I have found.  One day I was looking up lost treasure online, and I came across a website, TheGeoZone.com.  A story there inspired me to do some research, and that's when I found that there was a lot of historical truth in these stories.The places really existed.   I thought right there, "I have to go check this out in real life."  Then my next thought came: "What if America would like to come along too!"  This is how the Expedition Highway was born.

     If you would like to see more of my life, I made a slide show of my daughter on her visit to Colorado, and  my new born grandson.  Yep folks I'm a grandpa.  My son and his girlfriend made the grade along with mom and pops.  We got her on a horse for mothers day.  Boy did she feel alive again ....I had to lift her on to hay bails then put her up on that horse.  What a son won't do for his mother.  Picture's of my sis and her man and the deer in the front yard, then more family photos and fill in photos I liked.  Enjoy.MYLIFE , Accompanied by The song,Continental Drifters song Long Journey Home .  With you My life I share, take a look if you dare.  I look forward to sharing with you all I have learned over the years, and all I will have the pleasure of learning in the future as we brave the wild on the Expedition Highway.
